Bitter Time Zones

So 1.2 is here with loads of new features, a lot of which are nice and well over due.  Along with 1.2 massive list of bugs and career updates came the much anticipated Bitter Rivals event.  I for one have been waiting for this event seeing as it means the slayer is just around the corner.  As some might have read I live in Japan at the moment meaning I’m on GMT+9.  Normally I don’t mind the time difference.  It only becomes a problem when special events kick off, such as this one.

While at work today I was taunted and toyed with by posts like Down and dirty with Bitter Rivals, Bitter Rivals Day One – PvMe , it was enough to make my head explode.  But none the less the day eventually ended, although I think it may have been the longest day I’ve worked this year so far.  After a  relaxing dinner, a chat with the Mrs. about her day, and a quick shower.  It was finally time to settle down in front of the computer, for some good quality Bitter Rivalry action (better known as The Twisting Tower).   I was hoping due to the event people might be on a little earlier than normal.  5am isn’t asking to much.  Is it? Apparently it was, because the only real action I got all night was chasing a few Orcs around the RvR lakes for the event pq.  I very uneventful night I must say.

On the plus side my Slayer was accepted into Cult Of Garaz Dum earlier today.  Being a Slayer only guild that has a strong influence on Role-playing I was quite excited.  If you are a Slayer playing on the Phoenix Throne (US) server and are interested in a guild like this I suggest checking us out.
